The Precision Combo Calibration Device is an essential component of every current-generation F/G Series Goniometer and Tensiometer. The device is required to establish a physical reference distance so all resulting profile measurements are accurate in both the x and y axes. All editions of ramé-hart's DROPimage software include a calibration routine which measures the height and width of a fixed dimension sphere or rod and then stores the results for all future measurements and contact angle calculations. This tool is available in two forms: p/n 100-27-31-U is the uncertified version and one is included with all new instruments; p/n 100-27-31-C is the certified version which ships with a certified calibration report from a third-party laboratory with actual horizontal and vertical measurements traceable to a NIST Grand Master Set. Certified Pendant Drop Calibration Reference Tool

The Certified Pendant Drop Calibration Reference Tool includes (10) fixed pendant drops representing a variety of liquids. The surface tension of each of these drops can be measured using any version of DROPimage Advanced. The repeatable results will assure the instrument user that the tensiometer is calibrated properly and that correct procedures are in use for measuring surface and interfacial tension. The results are not affected by temperature, contaminants, air quality, humidity, or other environmental factors.
